Godfrey Map Number 101.16. This map fits below the map of Haydock Park 1906 (Code 3705). The housing areas are on either side of Crow Lane East, High St.,Park Rd., and Willow Rd. in the lower part of the map. The remainder of the map shows farmlands and wooded areas. It includes:- Ellam’s Rough, West Lancashire Flint Glass Works, St. Mary & St. John’s RC Church, Fairbrother’s Bridge, Dean Moor Wood, Newton Lake, Millingford Brook, St. Peter’s Church, a large Printing Works, London & North Western Railway (part), etc. On the reverse side of the maps is a list of residents (from Kelly’s Directory of Lancashire 1918).
